| Have Dog Duso Travel or Yoda
is my new hopeful. She is a result of breeding my Maggie to AFC Cayman's
Rum Point Red. I did not pick her till the last moment. One pup looked and acted like
Maggie and she had a slight edge on the other two. In the end, Yoda was often sitting back
and observing what was going on. Thinking. She showed aggressive marking skills, but they
all had good marking. Has she has grown she has gone through stages. at 3-4 months she was
a great maker easily pinning 75 +yds marks in cover, but coming back was an option. Now at
13 months she is alert looking for what is going on out in the find and ready to go on a
mark or blind. She entered her first Canadian Junior (derby) and got a green ribbon. In
her first US derby she went to the 3rd series. After a somewhat cold winter
down south she returned to get a US Derby 4th, a Canadian Junior 2nd, and
Jam in he first Qualifying at 27 months.
In Aug of 2007, Yoda won 3 Back to back Qualifyings. This may be a Record for a Golden retriever female. She is now competeing in Opens and an occasional Amatuer, when I can go to a trial.
